Booking Terms and Conditions

1 Terms

1.1 These Terms apply to Orleans B&B, our officers, employees and agents ('We'/'Us'/'Our') and the person or legal entity making the Booking, or to whom we supply services in respect of the Booking ('You'/'Your'). These Booking Terms are governed by English law and they apply to all Bookings except where we agree in writing to other terms. By making a Booking, you are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.

2 Bookings

2.1 When a booking is made, we accept a reservation from you, which brings into effect a contract between you and us. We will accept and confirm your reservation by phone (unless you advice us you require it in writing), when we have received full payment of the total value of the non-refundable deposit requested from you, or full advance payment of the total price quoted to you in the event that this is required.

2.2 When a deposit has been paid, the balance will be paid by you to us either on check-in or check-out.

2.3 If, on accepting a reservation from you, we have received full advance payment of the total value, the cost of the first night's stay as specified on our booking confirmation will be deemed as our standard non refundable deposit.

2.4 You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over eighteen years to make a booking.

2.5 Bookings must be paid for using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card.

3 Rates

3.1 Rates are per room per night. (unless otherwise stated).

3.2 Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.

4 Availability

4.1 In the very rare and unforeseen circumstances that we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, we will try and offer alternative accommodation.

5 Arrival and Departure

5.1 Check-in time is between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, if not between 6- 8pm, later check-ins available on request.. Check-in times outside those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival; otherwise, if we are then unable to receive you on account of previously arranged engagements, you will still be liable for the cost of your first night's stay.

5.2 Our specified check-out time is 1030 am.

6 Payments

6.1 The total amount payable to confirm the booking, will be charged to your account at the time of the booking.

6.2 The balance due on departure, is payable by cash/debit or credit card.

7 Cancellation Policy

7.1 The deposit paid in advance to secure your booking is non refundable. If you fail to honour a booking in whole or in part, this will often result in a loss to our business which we shall seek to recover. Nevertheless we will always do our utmost to re-let our rooms to mitigate any potential liability.

7.2 If you cancel or amend your booking, resulting in us being unable to re-let your room for any period covered by that cancellation or amendment, you will be liable for a charge equivalent to fifty percent of the total outstanding price, less the deposit paid. Typically this amount will be collected by  charging the credit card used to pay the deposit.

7.3 We recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover you.

8 Conditions of Stay

8.1 SMOKING
We are a non-smoking establishment, and will charge an extra nights room charge for anyone smoking in our rooms.

8.2 PETS
We are not able to take pets.

8.3 PARKING
We supply all our guests with cars with a complimentary parking permit. These cost us £250 for a year's parking and we need these returned so other guests can use them. (lost permits will be charged at the rate for the unexpired portion).

9 Liability

9.1 Except for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances shall We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.

9.2 We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control.

9.3 You are responsible to for any damage or loss caused to Us or Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect, and You agree to indemnify and Pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.

10 Data Protection

10.1 We may process the information You provide to Us, for Our own purposes only, within the parameters defined by the Information Commissioner. By making a Booking, You consent to Our processing of this information.
