Location

Orleans has a unique location within Dartmouth and indeed the South Coast , with spectacular views across the town, the estuary and out to sea.

Orleans is based on the South West Coast Path so is a perfect spot for walkers of all abilities.

The Georgian house sits on the banks of the River Dart along the estuary road leading out of the town towards Dartmouth Castle .
Three minutes walk from the centre of Dartmouth , with its narrow winding streets hosting many renowned restaurants, historic pubs, antique shops and art galleries.

Both Dartmouth and the surrounding area are dotted with spectacular beaches and a beautiful coastline.

The town is a haven for food lovers, sailors and boaters of all sorts. Its ever-changing waterside vista from one of its well-positioned pubs, can entertain for hours.

Don't stop at Dartmouth, take a boat up the River to Dittisham - an enchanting village with a real Old England feel, and from there, pop across the water to Agatha Christie's house "Greenway", and explore the grounds of her fantastic family home.

There is plenty to do in the stunning countryside that surrounds Dartmouth.

Dartmoor - moors, stunning scenery, great pubs
Totnes - vegetarian heaven, quirky town, great restaurants
Salcombe - wonderful coastline, harbour and beaches, good restaurants
Dittisham - beautiful village, waterside pub, easy mooring, great by boat
Bigbury - visit Burgh Island by tractor through the sea, Art Deco Hotel
Kingsbridge - good restaurants, riverside location, good shopping
Torcross - incredible piece of beach, great fish and chips
Blackpool Sands - best beach around, good café with real coffee
